A watchtower, reopened
Built as the First Baptist Church, this Gothic landmark once echoed with concerts from The Band, Warren Zevon, and Soul Asylum — before it fell quiet for decades.
Owner Michael Greene saw a building with scars worth honoring, and reopened it as The Mizpah: a name that means "watchtower," chosen a century ago to symbolize connection across distance.
